I wanted to keep within a colour theme through this task of
dot drawings and I wanted to have a certain pattern and composition to my work.
As I wasn’t there the week before I wasn’t able to use the drawing they did the
week before for inspiration so instead I wanted to concentrate on a colour
theme and patterns and lines. I used some recycled materials and one of which I
think worked the most was a magazine paper I used as I was trying to keep the
red and blue colours I feel that the magazine dot piece I created is one of my
most successful. I felt this session was a benefit and would use this structure
again using a hole punch and a drawing technique to help me develop my drawing.
